Teapigs visit Rwanda

Teapigs visit Rwanda

Last month Louise & Nick from Teapigs joined the PF team for their first ever trip to Rwanda.

They visited all projects the Teapigs ethical funding scheme contributes to and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the young people they support.

They’d barely landed in Kigali before we whisked them off on a 2 hour drive to Mwogo where they were guests of honour at the official opening of PF’s newest project, the Mwogo Vocational Training Centre.

A highlight of their visit was a ceremony at House of Children School to award prizes to the 76 pupils who entered the Teapigs Art Competition to draw a packaging design for a new product: Single Estate Tea.

Each entrant received a colouring book and crayons and the winner, Olga, was presented with a school bag filled with goodies.

Teapigs are an incredibly dedicated funding partner and it was wonderful to share first-hand what a difference their fantastic donations make.
