😃Thrilled to announce Phase 1 of our Mwogo Library build is complete - this exciting development through the partnership between Point Foundation & Ubumwe Community Center wouldn't be possible without the amazingly generous funding & donations to PF from Morgridge Family Foundation, Mr Mark Aldridge, teapigs, Caffe Praego & Ava's Jammies - and the diligent project managing by PF Country Manager: Viateur.

👩🏽🎓👏What a wonderful way to end the year - our 54 TVET students have now officially graduated ! Very proud of them - and the teachers & staff who work so hard to ensure each student reaches their potential

🧑🏾🌾🌱🍍It's World Soil Day - so we're giving huge applause👏 to our trainee farmers at Mwogo Vocational Centre, who know the value of good soil health & have been busy tilling, weeding & organically fertilising to improve the acres for this seasons crops!

😀📚📖 Thanks to the support from donors teapigs and Caffe Praego PF have been able to send another 1,000 curriculum text books to House of Children School at Ubumwe Community Center in Gisenyi!!

🌱Thanks to our donors teapigs & Caffe Praego there are 1,000 native & fruit tree saplings being nurtured - part of a scheme to promote growing indigenous trees in Mwogo. Hundreds of fruit trees will be donated to local families to encourage fruit growing for their children's nutrition - like the avocado, mango & papaya already growing well at the Centre.

🧱🧱More construction at Mwogo! Working together, PF & Ubumwe Community Center were humbly grateful to be awarded a grant from Morgridge Family Foundation towards building a LIBRARY & COMPUTER BLOCK at the Vocational Centre & foundations are now being laid adjacent to the recently built Vocational classrooms! It's an exciting development, not just for the Centre but also the Mwogo communities who will have public access to books & IT for the first time.
