Lily of the Valley & Makuputo Orphanages

This orphanage is managed by a dedicated team of volunteers who started their project some 10 years ago. Today, “home” to over 200 children, they provide homes, mothers, food, love and a hope for survival. Despite a massive 80% of the children being afflicted with HIV, and many not making their tenth birthday, the children live a much better life than they would, had it not been for the Lily of the Valley.

The Point Foundation have provided a new football pitch, football kits, clothing, toys and medicines, as well as supplying and setting up a new computer school for the children and the local community.
